The bison rut is winding down. For the wounded warriors are migrating back to their wintering grounds. The four bulls at Norris have several injuries. One with a broken leg and two others have puncture wounds in the rib cage. However, one can still view rutting behavior as the bulls move from one cow to the next. This big bull showed a rare moment of affection as he stopped by this calf.
