A grizzly with four cubs is a rare sight. This sow was on Dunraven Road between Mt. Washburn trail head to Chittenden Road however at the begining of the summer 2007 she had two cubs. One can only surmised how she picked up the other two cubs. The two cubs that are the same size are probably hers. The larger dark cub, probably a male and the smaller runt are more than likely the two adopted cubs. All photos below are from the grizzly sow with four cubs first seen on August 11, 2007.
