Dr. Joel Berger of the University of Montana has been getting a lot of press lately over Yellowstone's "vanishing jackrabbit". He states that there has been no reports of a jackrabbit in Yellowstone since 1991 and it should be reintroduced into Yellowstone. Well, don't worry Yellowstone is not hareless. The jackrabbit can be seen hopping around the Northern Range if one takes the time to look. In less than an hour, this photographer saw five jackrabbits near the Mammoth high bridge.
