Muskrat Love
For the past two weeks a family of four otters have been seen swimming
the Madison River near the seven mile bridge. The otters can be seen
catching fish, scalpons, and even muskrats. Otters can not eat their prey under
water, so look for them feeding on the rocks or in a log jam. They
also spend a great deal of time sleeping in the log jams or in the river's
bank. |
