Pine martens are found in rocky outcrops along pine forest where there
are lots of red squirrels and chipmunks. Young pine martins are very
inquisitive and will examine new items that are placed in their habitat.
This is the time of year to look for pine martins because the young
are exercising their independence and looking for new territory.
