The alpha male of the Hayden Pack is a large gray male with a dark back.
This morning he was traveling toward the horse corrals near Canyon Village.
Shortly, thereafter he crossed the road, picked up a deer leg in the
tall grass then headed back toward the den site. This is not your typical
wolf pack in that they can be seen any time of the day. However, it
is still best to get up early to avoid the crowds.
